Sam Coates aka ZAMI (pronounced ZAM—EYE) is a designer and artist

1977, Sydney, Australia.

 

He began drawing at an early age and studied graphic design at Shillington College Sydney.

 

He has been actively exhibiting his work since 2008 and currently practices in ink on raw canvas. ZAMI paints with a kind of raw geometry, which reveals a sinister motif that changes with every piece he paints.
